The Gen AI Beauty Assistant is an automated system powered by a third-party service provider, Riafy, and other third-party technologies, AI systems, and LLMs such as PaLM2 and Gemini trained on Unilever information. It is designed to give you personalized beauty advice and recommendations related to our products. The information provided is for general guidance and entertainment purposes only and is not intended to be comprehensive, nor to constitute legal, financial, or medical advice.

While we strive to provide accurate information through the Gen AI Beauty Assistant, we cannot guarantee the accuracy and/or the completeness of the information provided. The Gen AI Beauty Assistant may, at times, provide information that is inaccurate, so we encourage you to verify any information provided by the Gen AI Beauty Assistant before taking any action or making any decisions based on the information received. We make no representations, warranties, or guarantees in relation to the availability, suitability continuity, reliability, accuracy, currency or security of this Gen AI Beauty Assistant or the information it provides. By using the Gen AI Beauty Assistant you agree to not host, display, upload, modify, publish, transmit, store, update or share on the Gen AI Beauty Assistant any information that— (i) belongs to another person and to which you do not have any right; (ii) is obscene, pornographic, paedophilic, invasive of another’s privacy including bodily privacy, insulting or harassing on the basis of gender, racially or ethnically objectionable, relating or encouraging money laundering or gambling, or promoting enmity between different groups on the grounds of religion or caste with the intent to incite violence; (iii) defamatory, offensive, intimidating, illegal, discriminatory, harmful or inappropriate content in any form through the Gen AI Beauty Assistant (iv) is harmful to children; (v) infringes any patent, trademark, copyright or other proprietary rights; (vi) deceives or misleads the addressee about the origin of the message or knowingly and intentionally communicates any misinformation or information which is patently false and untrue or misleading in nature; (vii) impersonates another person; (viii) threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with foreign States, or public order, or causes incitement to the commission of any cognisable offence, or prevents investigation of any offence, or is insulting other nation; (ix) contains software virus or any other computer code, file or program designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer resource; (x) is in the nature of advertisement or surrogate advertisement or promotion of an online game that is not a permissible online game, or of any online gaming intermediary offering such an online game; (xi) violates any law for the time being in force.
In your use of the Gen AI Beauty Assistant, you agree (i) not to use the Gen AI Beauty Assistant to conduct illegal or immoral activities; (ii) not to attempt to compromise the security of the Gen AI Beauty Assistant or access confidential information related to the service; and (iii) not to copy, distribute, modify, reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code of the Gen AI Beauty Assistant or any part of it.
We reserve the right to terminate your use of the Gen AI Beauty Assistant or removing prohibited information for violating any of the prohibited uses. Further, you will also be subject to punishment under applicable laws in case of any such violation.
By using the Gen AI Beauty Assistant, you agree to use the Gen AI Beauty Assistant for its intended purposes only – to receive personalized advice and recommendations related to our products.

By using such third party tools and websites, you agree to the terms and conditions of such third parties.
Availability
This Gen AI Beauty Assistant is provided on an “as is” “where is” basis. We expressly reserve the right to modify, add or delete individual or all Gen AI Beauty Assistant functionalities without notice, or to discontinue the Gen AI Beauty Assistant temporarily or permanently and we provide no guarantee for the uninterrupted accessibility of the Gen AI Beauty Assistant.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction
All disputes relating to these terms are governed by the laws of India regardless of conflict of law rules. You and Lakmé consent to the jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, India.
